Vaginoplasty is an operation to construct (or reconstruct) a vagina. For male-to-female gender reassignment surgery, the three procedures most popularly used include:

The main difference between them, is what tissue is used as the vaginal lining. Each has its own positive and negative factors, regarding whom a technique can be used on, and the end results which vary by person to person and also by the surgeon performing the procedure.

Other forms of vaginoplasty exist, however have grown out of style due to the results afforded by current techniques.
