MTF is an acronym for Male-to-Female. This term is used to describe someone who is currently in the process of or has already completed the process of transition from Male gender to Female Gender. It may also include those individuals who have undergone Gender reassignment surgery (GRS) but is commonly applied to all transsexuals who are undergoing transition.
