---Welcome to Susan's Place Transgender Wiki---

The goal of this Wiki is to provide a web based encyclopedia consisting of articles which are directly related to our mission of providing support to the Transgender community.

Susan's Transgender Wiki is written and edited collaboratively by volunteers. Wiki's allow articles to be created or modified by anyone with access to a web browser. This Wiki was opened to the public on May 30th, 2005, and is believed to be the first Wiki which specifically services the transgender community. We provide this material as an educational resource for the general public. Susan's Place Transgender Wiki has articles covering the broad spectrum of our community which includes Cross-dressers, Transvestites, Transsexuals, Genderqueer, and the Intersexed, and of course our Significant Others.

This Wiki currently contains 384 articles in 91 categories and it is continually expanding. The Wiki provides quick and easy access to a wide rang of topics from A Guide to Coming Out at the Workplace to the Y chromosome.
