Neutral point of view

Neutral point of view, or NPOV as it is often abbreviated, is based on the conception of objectivity, and is a central policy of this Wiki.

In writing, a neutral point of view is a tone that tries to be free from bias. It is generally considered desirable for journalistic, encyclopedic, historic and scientific writings.

In the context of this Wiki a neutral point of view is taken to mean a neutral description of the facts without bias. Including, but not limited to, the fact that various points of view exist, rather than a single universal point of view and that there is no correct nor incorrect answer to any given question.
