Camp Trans is an annual campout for transgender people and allies in the Manistee National Forest near Hart, Michigan. It is rooted in a protest against the trans-exclusionary policy of the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival, but today serves a less confrontational and more informative purpose.

The campout lasts approximately one week with attendance on the final weekend peaking at over 100. There is a communal vegan field kitchen where lunch and dinner are prepared each day. Every night there is a community meeting around the campfire at which everyone introduces themselves by name and pronouns.

[edit] 2009

Camp Trans will run from August 2-9, 2009.
