All of Me
From Susan's Place Transgender Wiki
All of Me is one of the more memorable comedies of the 80's. It was released September 1 1984. Roger Cobb (Steve Martin) is a lawyer by career and musician by hobby who shares the soul of a selfish millionaire Edwina Cutwater (Lily Tomlin) during an unsuccessful transmigration to the body of Terry Hoskins (Victoria Tennant). The situations are funny, as only a Steve Martin movie can be. The magnificent cast is sharp (especially Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin), and this movie generally demonstrates the inherent comedy that ensues when two "people" inhabit the same body. The contrast between male and female interests and mannerisms is brought out in a hilarious manner sometimes flipping back and forth quickly. The movie also tells the thoughts of the other person adding to the fun. The insightful way that two very different people are and the conflict in many transsexual people is demonstrated with a healthy dose of humor.
